Abdul Rouf is an ASHRAE member and LEED accredited professional with 22+ years of diversified experience in MEP industry possessing strong HVAC and District cooling design capability, project implementation on mega projects and provides valuable design input and direction.
Abdul Rouf lives in KSA since 2002, he graduated from Bangalore University in India in 1996 and worked for Carrier ACs for 6 years before moving to KSA. Currently he works for KEO Saudi Arabia based in Jeddah from last 3 years on KAAR project Makkah as a PM/CM consultant facilitating district cooling design and procurement of DC Service providers for the project.
Prior to joining KEO, Abdul Rouf worked for Saud Consult Riyadh for 12 years leading and managing the design teams on projects for various prestigious clients like Royal Commission, ARAMCO, Riyadh development Authority, SABIC, Royal Saudi Air force, SEC, KSU Riyadh etc.
His design contribution to MEP industry is visible in KSA and is known among the industry peers throughout the Kingdom and specially within Riyadh.
Initially Abdul Rouf worked for Royal commission- Bechtel Jubail and his role included the review and design check of packages forwarded by consultants from outside for the smooth functioning of the RC construction projects.
He has managed the design and upgrade of various large size district cooling plants during his tenure in KSA. Examples are KSU Chiller Compound 60,000 TR, Jubail Industrial College, Jubail University College, Umm Al Qura Makkah and last but not least is the KAAR project Makkah with a total capacity of 160,000 TR.
