Eng. Basem Salameh received B.Sc. in Electrical Power Engineering where he got the first ranking, in 1997. He currently works for GSO as Conformity Specialist and was working before in consultation and Industry as an Electro-Technical Expert. During his career with experience of 21+ years, Eng. Basem served in multiple national, regional and international committees. Most importantly; a delegate to Arab Union of Electricity, a member of Distribution Code Review Panel, Saudi Building Code Electrical Requirement Committee, Gulf (GSO) Technical Committee for power generation, transmission and distribution equipment standardization and International Electrotechnical Committee (IEC). Eng. Salameh has diversified work experience in the electricity industry, developing national, regional and international standards, technical affairs, research and studies, and technical regulations.
Eng. Basem Salameh Contributed with many papers in many events. The most important are: (Event - Paper); 3rd forum for fraud-fighting in GCC countries - Counterfeit in electrical installations, 12th Civil Defense safety conference - Electrical hazards vs. safety, 7th Saudi Engineering conference - Electrical installations inspection, and 1st World Bank with MoWE workshop - electrical requirements enforcement. Also chaired many sessions in events such as 1st electricity experts symposium, 1st IECEE Gulf Electrotechnical conference and code enforcement
